So here goes nothing…I have wanted to start a blog for years.  I have spent numerous hours reading the blogs of many inspiring writers, dreamers and artists and have always thought that I would like to be brave enough to put myself out there into the public sphere.  It actually feels a bit scary and I currently have butterflies in my stomach and I haven’t even pressed “publish” yet.  Silly, I know.

I currently work as an art and French teacher.  My boy Ephraim is 4.  He is so full of wonder and joy as he goes about getting older much to quickly. I am also married to the most wonderful man, Dan, who is the best daddy and my best friend.

My main reasons for developing this blog is to give myself a creative outlet to share the things that inspire me and connect with others.  Whether it be the best new recipe I have tried, a book I couldn’t put down, moments of motherhood, organizational tips, DIY projects, home decorating ideas, outdoor fun, art journaling or just sharing the joyful, extraordinary, and magical moments that can happen in this thing we call life, I hope to be able to provide a quick smile or some pleasant thoughts to help all of us get through our day.  I hope you will join me on this journey.
